1ST ARTILLERY REGIMENT SVEA ARTILLERY REGIMENT, SWEDISH ARMY
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The lesser State Arms of Sweden here symbolises the Svea title. The Gun barrels are a symbol for Artillery Units. The Regiment was formed in 1794 when the then Artillery Regiment was divided into three. It was disbanded in 2000 when all Swedish artillery was combined again into one Regiment (and for a brief time a independent Battalion).
