Regimental Headquarters:
History: Raised 1815 from Nepalese Prisoners of War as the 1st and 2nd Nasiri (=friendly) Battalions. During 1910-1950 the Regiment had the Title 1st King George V's Own Gurkha Rifles (The Malaun Regiment)
