1ST TRAIN REGIMENT SVEA TRAIN REGIMENT, SWEDISH ARMY
Raised : in 1885 as the Trängbatlajonen (Train Battalion), renamed in 1891 to Svea trängbataljon, 1902 it become Första Svea trängkår
and in 1904 Svea trängkår, in 1949 raised to a Regiment. In 1985 reduced to a Battalion within the Life Grenadiers Regiment
Disbanded : 1997
Garrison : Stockholm (1885-1907), Örebro (1907-1927) and Linköping (1927-1997)

I rött fält Östergötlands vapenbild, en grip med drakvinge och draksvans av guld samt med blå draktunga och blå beväring. Origin/meaningThe Dragon-Griffin of Östergötland is used as Arms indicating the location of the Regiment to Linköping in Östergötland. Approved 1978.
