History: Raised in 1759 as 21st Light Dragoons, or Royal Windsor Foresters and become in 1897 21st Lancers. In 1922 amalgamated with 17th Lancers (Duke of Cambridge's Own), British Army to form 17th-21st Lancers, British Army.
