Inactivated on 24 Sep 1949. Redesignated as 23 Maintenance Squadron on 19 Dec 1950. Activated on 12 Jan 1951. Inactivated on 6 Feb 1952. Consolidated (22 Oct 1984) with 23 Field Maintenance Squadron, which was constituted, and activated, on 28 Jan 1964. Organized on 8 Feb 1964. Redesignated as 23 Equipment Maintenance Squadron on 1 Jul 1977. Inactivated on 1 Jun 1992. Redesignated as 23 Maintenance Squadron, and activated, on 1 Jun1992. Redesignated as: 23 Equipment Maintenance Squadron on 1 Oct 2007; 23 Maintenance Squadron on 2 Nov 2017.
