History: Raised in Meerut, India in June 1941 from a cadre of 14th/20th King's Hussars and disbanded in October 1943.

Origin/meaning
The badge is the Prussian Eagle of the parent 14th/20th King's Hussars but with the Orb and Sword reversed and a scroll with the Regimental designation added.
