Origin/meaning

Teal blue adn white are the colours formerly used for Army Security Agency organizations. The key symbolizes the unit's mission, the guarding of security. The Golden Bear's head on the key represents the state of California, where the Battalion was activated. The ligthning flashes symbolises electronic communications.
