3RD TRAIN REGIMENT NORRLAND TRAIN REGIMENT, SWEDISH ARMY

History: Raised in 1893 as Norrlands trängbataljon, 1902 renamed Norrlands trängkår, it become a Regiment in 1949. In 2000 the Regiment become a Battalion within the Jämtland Ranger Regiment. Disbanded in 2004.
Garrison : Stockholm (1893-1898), Sollefteå (1898-2000), Östersund (2000-2004)

The Reindeer is used to symbolise Norrland.The Wheel and Swords are symbols of the Train Troops.
