Raised : 1893 as Norrlands trängbataljon, 1902 renamed Norrlands trängkår, it become a Regiment in 1949.
It 2000 the Regiment become a Battalion within the Jämtland Ranger Regiment
Disbanded : 2004
Garrison : Stockholm (1893-1898), Sollefteå (1898-2000), Östersund (2000-2004)

Origin/meaning
The Reindeer is used to symbolise Norrland.The Wheel and Swords are symbols of the Train Troops. The Regiment was raised in 1949 and in 2000 become a Battalion within the Jämtland Ranger Regiment. This Battalion was disbanded in 2004.
