Motto: Pexagimus (We Accomplish).
Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Crimson, on a bend per bend Buff and Azure fimbriated Or, in dexter chief a cross patteé of the last. Attached below the shield a gol scroll inscribed "PEXAGIMUS" in blue letters.
Origin/meaning
Crimson and yellow are the colours used by Ordnance Units and signify the roots as a Ordnance Battalion. The bend is in the colours of the Quartermaster Corps highlighting the Quartermaster Company , through which the organisation inherits its battle honours and decorations. The Cross is taken from the Arms of Rome, Capital of Italy and symbolises service in that Country during World War II.
