Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A Gold color metal an enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Azure a benzene ring Gules fimbriated Or interlaced with two bolos saltirewise of the third. Attached below the shield a scroll Azure doubled and inscribed "PROTECT THE FORCE" in Gold letters.

Origin/meaning

The Benzene Ring is adopted from the Chemical Corps Insignia. The Bolos represents service in the Philippines during World War II, and the Philippine Presidental unit Insignia awarded. They are crossed to signyfy strength and recall the motto.

The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia, was both approved on 17 June 1992.
