Distinctive Unit Insignia, Description: A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per fess abased Gules (Crimson) and Or issuant from a bar abased wavy Azure (Light blue) a heraldic sea lion holding in dexter paw a pheon all of the second. Attached below the shield is a Red scroll inscribed "STRENGTH IN SERVICE" in Gold.
