Yellow and Green are the Colours of the Military Police. The Fox's head symbolises wit and wisdom. The chain symbolises the obligation placed on the personnel in the just performance of their duties.<br>
The control functions of the Battalion, are aptly and subtly illustrated in the implication of a clear track for all by means of the green railroad signals of the shield.
The Coat of Arms was approved 15 October 1942 and rescinded 3 April 1958.
