Origin/meaning
The Field strewn with Airplanes alludes to the heraldry of Getafe, the cradle of Spanish military aviation, the place where the Unit settled. The Dragon symbolizes the enemy who is shot down by the fire of the Group, represented by the arrow. The Coat of Arms was approved on 29 March 2004.
