Escudo de azul, um pano de muralha em faixa e novente dos flancos, de prata, lavrado de negro e nele um arco fundo, ogival (arco de Almedina); em chefe, à dextra uma mitra episcopal de ouro e à sinistra uma borla doutoral de prata. Coroa mural de três torres de prata. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: «ALMEDINA».
