Michael McCarthy in his Armoria Sedium gives the blazon of the diocesean arms as two Coat of Arms 1. Azure seme de lis or, a cross or and 2. Azure seme de lis or, a representation of the Virgin and Child with Sceptre, crowned and nimed, argent.
