I fält av silver en blå taltrast, med utbredda vingar samt med näbb, tunga, öga och ben av guld, på en svart stubbe.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 30, 1960

The arms show a trush on a tree and aare based on the old seal of the local parish from 1750. Designed by the City Architect Hans Schlyter, Sundsvall.
