|
Official blazon
On a white disc 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, a blue yellow jacket wasp with white wings displayed above the inscription “AYNOR” arcing in base in blue letters.
Origin/meaning
Blue and white are the school colors. The blue yellow jacket wasp is the school mascot and reflects the cadets’ “stinging power” in their academic and physical regimen. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 7 June 1996.
