BARLY

Département : Pas-de-Calais

Origin/meaning

The arms are based on the arms of the Blin family. The village was acquired by the Blin family in the late 16th century and in the late 18th century Vindicien Blin built the local castle. The family held the village until 1793.

These arms were proposed in 1994 and I have no information whether the municipality actually adopted the proposal.
