BETTEMBOURG
Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on August 3, 1981.
The lion is derived from the arms of the Soleuvre family, who held several possessions in the present municipality. The lion also symbolises the lion of Luxembourg, as the counts of Luxembourg also had many possessions in the area. The castle symbolises the two historical castles in the village.
