BIKANER DUNGAR LANCERS, BIKANER

History: raised in 1455 as Khas Risala. It took part in the 1st and 2nd Sikh Wars and aided the quelling of the Indian Mutiny of 1837. Renamed Dungar Lancers in 1912.
