BIKANER GANGA RISALA (BIKANER CAMEL CORPS), BIKANER

History: raised in 1884, and saw action in the Chinese War (1900) and int he Somaliland Campaign (1901-1902). During World War I it served in Egypt, Persia and Iraq. It was reoerganised as an Indian State Forces Unit in 1923 and participated in World War II.
