Official blason

I fält av silver en på båda benen stående blå trana med hjässa, näbb och ben röda, ovanför en i stammen bjälkvis ställd av sågskuror bildad blå sträng.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 15, 1952.

The crane with a stone, indicating vigilance, was taken from the seal of the Bollnäs parish. The wavy bar symbolises the Ljusnan and Voxnan rivers.
