Description: On a disc quartered orange and black and edged with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) black border, a planet on an axis pole encircled by an orbit ring; a mortarboard; four conjoined rings bendwise; and a sprig of laurel all white, and all on an orange disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in diameter, inscribed “BOYD ANDERSON” to the top and “HIGH SCHOOL” to base in black letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Orange and black are the colors of the school. The symbols refer to science, academics, athletics, the arts, and achievement. They reflect the complete curriculum offered all cadets.
Shoulder Loop Insignia: Orange and black are the school’s colors. The shield divided reflects the many aspects of the ROTC curriculum. The school mascot is the cobra.
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and Shoulder Loop Insignia was approved on 1 February 1988.
