Region : Comunidad de Madrid

Escudo de Carabaña

Official blazon

Cortado.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 17, 1987.

The upper part shows the arms of the Vega family, Lords of Carabaña, Orusco and Valdilecha since 1578. The lower half shows the local fountain, which dates from the 18th century and which played a major role in the development of the village, due to the increased possibilities to irrigate the fields.
