CASSON

Département : Loire-Atlantique

Blason de Casson/Arms (crest) of Casson
Official blazon
French D'argent à trois chouettes de sable, becquées, membrées et allumées de gueules.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms have not been formally adopted by the municipality.

The arms show three canting owls, taken from the arms of the Courson family (owl is catheu in the local dialect), who played a major role in the local history.
