CHAVANNES-LE-VEYRON
Canton : Vaud
Official blazon
D'azur à la bande ondée d'argent, chargée de trois vairons au naturel posés en fasce.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 1924.
The blue field is taken from the arms of the Crinsoz and Forel families, former lords of the village. The wavy bend with fish is a symbol for the Veyron river, with the fish ('vairons') also being a canting element.
