Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted in June 2009.
The lion is the lion of Normandy and refers to the battle near the village where the French King Charles the Bold defeated the Normans. The sword also refers to the battle. The blue colour refers to the Tarn river. The base shows a tiled field, symbolising the underground refuge of La Teulière (from the Latin Occitan Teula, tile). The billets representing tiles.
