Official blazon
Azure a bear passant argent above a cross botonny or; on a chief embattles or a crescent azure between two white lilies proper.
Origin/meaning
The arms combine elements from the arms of the two former dioceses. The chief and the two lilies are taken from the arms of the Diocese of Saint Joseph. The bear, crescent and cross are taken from the arms of the Diocese of Kansas City.
