Incorporated into : 1974 South Bedfordshire (2009 Central Bedfordshire)

Origin/meaning

The Borough of Dunstable had no arms, but adopted a device based on the Arms of the Priory of Dunstable. This showed an ale-warmer inside a black engrailed bordure.
