Geviertelt, im 1. und 4. Feld auf silbernem Grund ein schwarzer aufrechter nach rechts gewendeter Wolf, im 2. und 3. Feld auf rotem Grund eine goldene Garbe. Helmwulst in rot und gold. Helmdecke in rot und gold. Helmzier: Fünf Straussenfedern, abwechselnd gold und rot. Devise: Occurrite Angeli Domini.
Origin/meaning
The wolf corresponds to the armiger's wife's name (Wolfartsberger) and the garb is the traditional charge of his family (Gräupl). The tinctures Gules and Argent are the Austrian colours, Sable corresponds to the Order of the Holy Sepulchre and Gules and Or to the Holy See. The motto is taken from an old prayer.
