Origin/meaning

The arms were officially registered in 1972.

The arms are canting, showing oak trees (Eg) and a hill (Bjerg). The name is derived from a area in the middle of the municipality. The green colour symbolises the nature and the oaks also refer to a prosperous future and long life.
