Official blazon
Escudo com o campo ondado de prata e verde, com dois golfinhos de ouro realçados de negro, passados e repassados em aspa, tendo as cabeças voltadas para a ponta. Coroa mural de cinco torres de prata. Listel branco com a legenda de negro : " CIDADE DE ESPINHO ".
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 6, 1986. Th eprevious arms (above left) were granted on May 28, 1932 and only differ in the crown.
Unfortunately I have no background information on these arms. Any information is welcome !
