Escudo de verde, burelado e ondeado de prata, chefe de ouro e em ponto de honra círculo entrecambado; em ponta, barco de pesca posto de proa, de ouro, realçado de vermelho, com os remos alçados do mesmo. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: “ FOZ DO ARELHO “.
