This is a series of stamps with arms from districts and towns in what is now German Sleswig, a disputed area in the 1920s between Germany and Denmark. After a plebiscite it became German. The stamps probably date from the 1930s or 1950s and show the now German areas with Danish names. The stamps were issued by the Grænseforeningen Slesvigsk Samfund (Schlesvig Border Association Society).
