GURA VADULUI

District/county (județ) : Prahova

Stema Gura Vadului

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 14, 2004.

The grapes refer to the importance of the local vineyards. The free canton of ermine, a royal symbol, refer to the ownership of some of the vineyards by Constantin Brâncoveanu, Prince of Wallachia between 1688 and 1714.
