Template:Sweden HÄSSJÖ

Province (Landskap): Medelpad, Ångermanland
County (Län): Västernorrlands län
Additions : 1952 Ljustorp, Tynderö
Incorporated into : 1974 Timrå

Hässjö kommunvapen

Official blason

I fält av guld en röd enmastad båt med spri samt vid masttoppen en framåt blåsande tvåtungad blå vimpel

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 16, 1960.

The arms are based on the composition of the seal of Hässjö from the early 17th century as well as from the seal of the Ljusstorp court from 1623, both of which showed a boat.
