Origin/meaning

The lion is taken from the arms of the Bérus estate, to which the area historically belonged. The key is taken from the Abbey of St. Peter in Metz, to which the parish was depending. The lower half shows the symbol for St. Hubertus, the local patron saint.t patron de la paroisse.
