Origin/meaning
From the arms of Admiral Adam Duncan, Viscount Duncan of Camperdown (1731-1804). The Latin motto translates as "Upright in prosperity and peril". The badge was first approved in a Shieldshaped frame in 1919 and in a round fram in 2002.
