I blått fält Hallands vapenbild, ett lejon av silver med röd beväring därest dylik skall komma till användning.
(Azure, the provincial badges of Halland, a doubl-tailed lion rmapant argent, armed and langued gules).
Motto (not shown): Virtute Leonis = Virtue of the Lion
Origin/meaning
Is the coat of Arms of the Namegiving Province. The Name has be used by two Ships of the Line in service in the 17th and 18th Centuries, a Destroyer in Service 1955-1987. Today the Name is used by a Submarine in Service since 1997.
