English | Blue; a caduceus erect and two eras of wheat in saltire and surmounted by a lozenge gold charged with a fleur-de-lys. |
Origin/meaning
a despatch vessel (Caduceus) who brought home the news and despatches of Trafalgar. Captain Fielding (lozenge) and the First Lieutenant John Lapenotiere (Ears of Wheat and Fleur-de-Lys). The badge was approved on 2 March 1944.
