I blått ett enmastat segelfartyg med korsprydd mast och tvärskuren flagga, allt av guld.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1933 and are based on the oldest seal of the city, known since 1628. The seal already shows a ship, as the city borders the Vättern Lake and was an important harbour.
