HUNDSHEIM

State : Niederösterreich
District : Bruck an der Leitha

Hundshei.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on August 23, 1987.

The dog is a canting element (Hund=dog), although the name of the village is based on the name of a family, not a dog. The small hill in the base is the Hundheimer Berg, a local protected natural area.
