Origin/meaning
In the Atlamal of the Edda the story of how the Kings of the Burgundy Gunnar and Hogne is slayed by the Brother in Law Atle (Attila the Hun) chieftain of the Huns. Their Sister Gudrun later avanges thier Death. The Huns where superb Horsemen hence the Horse in the coat of Arms.
