- (de) Geteilt durch ein liegendes silbernes Kreuz; oben in Blau eine natürliche Hirschkuh, die den Kopf nach unten neigt; unten in Gold auf natürlichem Hügel eine natürliche Gemse; das Ganze nach links ausgerichtet.
Origin/meaning
The deer with the cross in the upper half is derived from the arms of the Polling Abbey, where he was a monk before becoming a bishop. The meaning of the chamois in the lower half is not known.
