Origin/meaning

The Eagle alludes to St John the Evangelist, and symbolises the Impact the Gospel of St John had on the Faith Experience of Archbishop Emeritus Hammar. The Wine Leaves alludes to the Word of Jesus "I'am the true Wine Tree". The Motto translates as "The Truth will set you free" and is taken from the Gospel of St John.
