Origin/meaning

The oak refers to the 900 year old "Gypsy Oak" in the village and also to the forests in the municipality. The fleur-de-lys is taken from the arms of Queen Jadwiga, based on a legend involving an oak tree and the Queen in the village.

The horseshoe is taken from the arms of the Koniecpolski family, owners of a large estate in the municipality.
