The arms were officially adopted on ??.

The arms show an ice crystal (snowflake) and a rowing boat.

The arms symbolically represent the local feast of Mary ad Nives (Our Lady of Snow, Gospa Snježna - August 5) has been celebrated uninterrupted for almost 500 years. In the main procession the sculpture of the Lady is transferred from the local church to the chapel by boat.
