LAGUENNE

Département : Corrèze

Blason de Laguenne

Official blazon

De gueules à la bande chevronnée de sable et d'argent de dix pièces; au franc-canton senestre échiqueté d'or et de gueules de six tires.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on January 23, 1979.

The arms are a combination of the arms of two families that owned the village in the 16-18th century; the main shield is the arms of Cardinal Sudre and the free quarter is taken from the arms of the Ventadour family, Vicounts of Turenne.
