Escut caironat: de sinople, una mà d'or. Per timbre, una corona de baró.
Origin/meaning
Canting arms: they show traditionally a "mà" (Catalan for "hand"). The town has been the centre of the barony of Maials since 1754; this is the reason of the baron's crown at the top of the arms.
